Our schedules crossed today! She did the early session, I get the afternoon session at the Leadership Summit @hopewellmb! I see a victory, do you see a victory! This is a picture of the Freedom Tower! This tower serves as a reminder that freedom is never free! On this day in 2001 there were two towers! On September 12th, 2001, after they destroyed the two towers this nation stood as one! We were so unified as a nation. I so loved the emotions of the few weeks after the attack! I didn’t like why it happened, but the patriotism was contagious, courtesy was extended and kindness abounded! Now there’s one tower in a nation that many are trying to divide! May we look back at this day eighteen years ago and remember. We are One Nation, Under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all! Then may we lead by example in courtesy, kindness and in unity! May we never forget Sept 11th and who we became on Sept 12th 2001! Decisions good or bad have repercussions. My life is a culmination of decisions that I have made. Sure my life is somewhat impacted by the decisions of others, but ultimately, where I am in life right now, how I feel, what I am doing, where I live, who I married, what my marriage is like, aren’t decisions made by someone else, they were made by me! I along with you have to take the responsibility of the decisions that we make. Call them choices, call them whatever you want, but your life is a culmination of the decision and the choices that you make. Your decisions and choices will either make or break you. If you are facing a tough decision, let me lead you to a scripture! “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
